Professional Profile
Francis was involved in a number of governmental subsea search projects in England and Ireland and is specialised in underwater research techniques including diving and marine geophysics. Director of underwater surveys and excavations in the UK and Ireland, including survey work on the early submarines Resurgam, Holland V and A1. Participated in underwater excavations of medieval ships (Boyne wreck, Drogheda, and the Princes Channel Wreck, London).
